Recap: On Saturday, April 20th, the Raleigh (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated held its 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary and 14th Annual Emerald Awards. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors, vendors and guests. Your presence and contributions made the event a resounding success. It was an honor to have present our National President of The Links, Incorporated and The Links Foundation, Incorporated Ethel Isaacs Williams, J.D. We were also delighted to have our Southern Area Director Vanessa Falls join us in this celebration. Congratulations to our five honorees for their outstanding achievements locally and globally in the areas of our Facet programming.

· The Arts: Dr. Laura Bethea, Chairperson, African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh, and Wake County Governing Board of Directors

· International Trends & Services: Dr. Christine Grant, Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University
