48th Southern Area Conference

The 48th Southern Area Conference brought together over 1,000 members in Birmingham, Alabama for a week rich in inspiration, connection, and impactful service. The Raleigh (NC) Chapter proudly brought home several honors, including The National Trends and Services Award for our PowerHer: Dressing Her from the Inside Out program and The Health and Human Services Award for our Fight Like a Link – Mammogram program as well as recognition as a Trifecta Giving Chapter.

Special congratulations to members Linda Simmons-Henry, recognized as Chair of the National History Committee, and Monica Rose, recognized as a member of the Southern Area Strategic Planning Committee. Both contributed their expertise by presenting workshops during the conference.
