Black Girls Must Be Magic - March 2022

ARCHIVES
The Arts Facet of the Raleigh (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hosted an afternoon of ‘Black Girls Must Be Magic‘ on Sunday, March, 27, 2022 at 3:00 pm. This event closed out Women’s History Month with a contemporary discussion about Black Women with Author Jayne Allen.
Jayne Allen is the pen name of Jaunique Sealey, a graduate of Duke University and Harvard Law School. Drawing from her experiences as an attorney and entrepreneur, she crafts transcultural stories that touch upon contemporary women’s issues. Her writing echoes her desire to bring both multiculturalism and multidimensionality to a rich and colorful cast of characters inspired by the magic uncovered in everyday life. She calls the Black Girls Must Die Exhausted series “the epitaph of my 30s.”

Links were on the move Saturday March 5!
Members of the Raleigh (NC) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated’s Health and Human Services Facet practiced social distancing while packaging and delivering 890 KN95 masks to 157 units at Sir Walter Apartments in downtown Raleigh. We believe in keeping our community safe as we navigate this pandemic! Many thanks to the anonymous donor for their generous and timely donation of KN95 masks and hand sanitizer. Look at our Link sisters in action!
